Wildwood is getting ready to become a walkable soundtrack.

The City of Wildwood is inviting local musicians, performers, and community groups to help bring the Route 66 Cruise, Tunes & Taste Celebration to life July 17–19, 2026.

On Saturday, July 18, especially, the historic Route 66 corridor will come alive with a “troubadour-style” vibe. Music will be flowing from patios, sidewalks, historic corners, and community gathering spaces. One moment it might be an acoustic guitar, the next jazz, then a choir or student band around the corner.

Performances may pop up at:
🎵 Restaurants and patios
🎵 Breweries and local hangouts
🎵 Historic Route 66 sites
🎵 Vendor and activity areas
🎵 Public community spaces

All genres are welcome as long as they match the Route 66 spirit: laid-back, nostalgic, and full of local pride.

This is a great opportunity for local musicians, schools, churches, theater groups, and community performers to be part of a city-wide celebration where music isn’t confined to a stage, it’s part of the experience itself.

At Maerock Real Estate, we love seeing Wildwood come together like this, where community, creativity, and local energy turn an entire corridor into something unforgettable.
